Please not that this thread is not related to any other tools that, as of LolliPop, on stock ROMs, are not working anymore (even with ROOT): GameCIH, GameKiller, Game Guardian are all not working on my rooted Z1 Compact with Android 5.0.2.
Without any further ado, introducing Andoid version of Cheat Engine to the masses
Original thread can be found looking up "cheat engine android" on google, and accessing the forums.cheatengine.org link (am not allowed yet to post outside links). Investigating the posts, it works (as confirmed) fine for now on the following versions of Android (rooted, of course): 4.2.1, 4.4.2, 4.3, 5.0.x, 5.1.
Features:
- ability to connect to local or remote processes (via IP);
- value types for scanning: for 1, 2, 4, 8 Bytes, Float, Double, String, Array of Byte;
- scan types: exact value, bigger than, smaller than, between or unknown;
- values can also be scanned in hexadecimal form;
- features a "fast scan" feature, which works pretty good on several games I've tested;
- can scan read-only or paged memory;
- ability to choose the process OR application from a drop-down list;
- also features a Memory Viewer (requires some RAM if zoomed out);
